🎥 Netflix Partners with Decentraland to bring “The Gray Man” to the Metaverse.

The Gray Man, the newest Netflix film starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, is making their debut into decentraland's metaverse!

The game presents a mission you need to complete for you to receive the prize. In short, players must enter the maze and try to escape. While en route, you will be asked questions regarding the movie to test your knowledge. And at the end, players with the best times will be eligible to win prizes.

This isn't Netflix's first experience with NFTs either! In June 2022, they released a collaboration with Love, Death + Robots, where players go on a physical scavenger hunt to find QR codes for digital artworks. They also released Stranger Things NFTs a few months ago!

📈 Bitcoin Futures continue to Rise even if Prices are Pulling Back

In the past week, Bitcoin has been down 2.5%; however, open interest for BTC and ETH futures has been ahead since July's numbers, indicating the value of all outstanding contracts/trades that have not yet settled.

Futures are derivative financial; contracts that obligate parties to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined future date and price. Hence the name.

In August, open interest was $1.54B compared to $1.47B in last month's total.

This shows more optimism for crypto, or at least the profits people have seen in it in the past month. The future market players are growing exponentially, which only makes us more bullish on the future price action!

⚽️ Major League Soccer Signes Bored Ape to a Contract.

MLS announced that the league had signed Bored Ape #6045 to a pro contract before the weekend!

They took to social media and shared a photo of the first ever first professional digital athlete.

"We're excited to announce that the League has signed Striker, a Bored Ape, to a professional contract, making him the first digital athlete to sign with a professional sports organization," the MLS posted on Instagram along with a photo of Striker. "Follow @Striker6045 and look out for more during our upcoming MLS All-Star week."

Bored Ape #6045 is currently held by wallet @get3ngaged who got the golden-brown primate transferred to them five months from Moonpay. Moonpay purchased Bored Ape #6045 on March 13th for 100 Eth or $251,000.

1/ Some fans aren't happy with this, saying the apes implicate racism and are not a good league representation.

2/ Others think this is HUGE (including us)! The NFT space needs catalysts to go mainstream, and the top soccer league making an NFT their PFP is a great step! The word cryptocurrency will get normalized and engrained inside kids' heads.
