Seedphrase Daily ๐
The crypto translators that make sure you get what we put down. This is the Rock asking for us. No joke.
Todayโs Agenda ๐:
๐งโโ๏ธ Do Kwonโs First Interview Since the Luna Massacre.
๐ฝ How I turned a $3,000 investment into $50,000 and blew it. This is what I wish I knew, and what I'm investing in now.
๐ง Smart Money: Market Cycle Analysis.
The notorious man responsible for the crash of one of the biggest stablecoins has finally broken his silence. In an interview with Coinage, he explains himself.
These are the critical parts ๐:
The collapse took Do Kwon by surprise, he "Didn't think this would happenโฆ I haven't found the words to describe what it feels like".
Do Kwon claims to believe that UST was getting stronger every day.
UST sentiment plummeted as FUD spread like wildfire on Twitter.
He admits to being overconfident; it was cringey.
He addressed rumors that he made money off the collapse, and explains he never shorted any crypto in his life...
He ends the interview with some hopium, saying the "next 20 years is going to be more meaningful than what happened over the last six weeks"
Will the community ever put their trust in him again? That's up to you.
Let us know what you think. ๐ค |
๐ฝ Here's what I wish I knew.
I was a naive young trader with aspirations for short-term gains with a long-term strategy. Boy, was I wrong. ๐
Every week when I got paid for my regular job, I started to Dollar Cost Average. Initially, I deposited $3K and in six months, turned it into $50K. But, this euphoria was short-lived. I got slaughtered for being greedy. Here are my lessons.
These are the coins I entered. ๐
Solana first at $11
Cardano at $.44
$ETH at $1,800
Chain Link at $25
$HNT at $4
Decentrland at $.54
Fantom at $.46
I've seen some of my investments go 20x and had the foolish thoughts that if I HODL for 2-5 years, I'll be rich.
But reality hit when the bear market started, and I lost everything. I could dwell on the losses, but it's more productive to see where I went wrong and improve.
Mistakes I Made and How to Avoid Them. โ๏ธ
Not taking a profit.
Not planning trades.
Greed.
The Biggest Lesson: plan the trade, trade the plan.
My strategy going forward. ๐ฎ
When a coin 2x, take profit and cash out half of the investment. (At that point, I am in it for free.)
Ride out the other half of the initial investment and take profit every 20% increase in price.
Allocate half of the profits distributed among stablecoins USDT and USDC.
Take profits and be okay with the outcome.
My portfolio and why. ๐
50% Stablecoins - Keeps you alive in this market and can keep profits stable during volatile markets.
30% Blue Chips (SOL, ETH, BNB) - I have high conviction in these coins and believe they will be here for the long term and are fantastic products
10% NFTs - I allocate small amounts of my portfolio to NFTs as I see them as an opportunity to see quick gains
10% Degen Plays - Potential 50x -100x gambles on small-cap coins that can moon out of nowhere.

As promised yesterday, here are some basic market movements that you should know.
It's pretty simple. BTC is the Noah's Ark of crypto. It moves the markets. If it pumps, the markets pump. If it falls, the rest of the markets will follow.
If BTC has a quick pump ๐
The rest of the market typically experiences a delay before pumping
If BTC dumps ๐
There will be a delay before the rest of the market declines.
People are exiting the markets and looking to take the remaining liquidity.
The best way to see market movement is to compare it to the BTC chart/pairing. You will find that many chart movements look very similar to BTC movements with similar patterns. Use that knowledge to find the best opportunities.
