🚨 Podcast alert. Someone give Joe Rogan our number.

Our new podcast episode is out and ready for your beautiful ears to listen to.

This week we had NFT artist Joey Khamis, who talked about working with Kanye, tips to make it as an artist, RTFKT, and much more.

Believe it or not, SOL is wrecking ETH.

According to a Nansen report, daily transactions on Solana for were 40M, and Ethereum? Only 1M...SOl is doing a 40x on ETH between April and June.

Here's see why. πŸ‘‡

Solana's increase in daily transactions was observed on daily non-vote transactions.

For the masses, using Solana just makes more sense.

Lower Gas Fees πŸ’΅: Sending money through SOL is exponentially cheaper. Less than pennies. Why spend $100+ on the ETH network when the same result can be done for ~$0.01 on Solana.

Faster TPS πŸ’¨: The worst part about the DMV is waiting.

SOL is like going to the express center, with young and hungry employees that can do 2,300 transactions per second (TPS). You're in and out.

While ETH is like the sloth from zootopia, slow and steady. That's why they can only do 20 TPS.

Imagine trying to mint a highly anticipated project and getting bombarded by network delays and gas fees.

But you don't have to imagine.

Otherdeeds consumed over 64,000ETH, and some investors paid $40k in gas due to high network traffic during their launch (post-merge, this problem should be gone).

Expansion πŸ›: Solana is BUILDING. Their eyes are on the big prize.

Since the beginning of the year, they've been getting bullied on Twitter, but still manage to release new utilities and keep expanding.

Their products aim to onboard populations less accustomed to crypto for a seamless transition from Web2 to Web3.

Their explosion is in part due to them relentlessly supporting GameFi, Defi and NFTs in their ecosystem. Recent things like y00ts launch, DeGods, Solana Phone and VC funding are some things they've knocked out of the park. Barry Bonds style.

Makes sense why they’ve been seeing so much volume recently.

So that leads us to. πŸ‘‡

Is SOL the better product? 🧐

This is a bit of a pickle.

ETH has been around longer, so the security and stability of the network are much higher. The downside to this is you lose speed, money, and innovation.

SOL is a fantastic product primed for mass adoption and solves ETH's current problems.

Each has its benefits.

Our Take. 🧠

We've got to know ETH for so long that they've become one of the crypto fathers.

But SOL is the bright son that will get his turn at the torch one day.

Like Naruto before becoming Hokage.

SOL has only been around for 2 years and is already a top 10 coin by market cap.

Even though we didn't get Solana summer, SOL is working hard at developing its ecosystem by adding utility and making it more user-friendly. Which IMO makes it a great coin to look into.

⚜️Golden Nugget: NFA. Personally, I'm looking to DCA into SOL because my bets are that this will be one of the few L1s that survive the bear market.⚜️

We are currently sitting at $31.90, and Solana's ATH was $250, which is almost an 8x!

Compared to ETH's price right now from the ATH, it's only 4x.

Picking smaller cap coins will increase your profits but also increase your risk. If we can find a conviction for small-cap coins, our opportunity to make a profit multiplies. A LOT.

I get it. Trading isn't for everyone. But just by reading about web3, you are LIGHTYEARS ahead of the masses.

If you're bullish on web3, it would be wise to invest in finding ways to set foot into the space.

You're so early in this industry that if you find success, it will be exponential.

These are the average salaries for popular web3 jobs.

As you can see, there are countless options to work. Whether you're into tech, marketing, social media, or sales, web3 has the chance to save your life from a mind numbing 9-5 job.

πŸ‘‰Here's how to get started.

Developing and Programming πŸ’»: This is the hottest in demand and might seem harder than it actually is.

Knowing how to write basic smart contacts can land you a hell of a job.

CryptoZombies.io is an excellent, interactive tool to learn Solidity (the language for smart contacts). And it's FREE. No excuses.

Non-Tech Jobs πŸ‘―β€β™‚οΈ: These come in the form of marketing, community or social media manager. This is usually people's first step into the web3 world. The internet is your best friend if you want to learn more about web3 marketing and community management.

πŸ‘‰Here are some videos to get you started:

Artist 🎨: A job that we didn't talk about. People like Beeple have sold NFTs for $69M, so it's not far-fetched to think if you have a little fun, you can sell some art to collectors.

GIMP is the best, free substitute for Adobe Photoshop. You can let your inner child go and, in the process, maybe make some money selling them. (Beeple used GIMP every.single.day.)

If you already have these skills and are searching for a job.

Look over here πŸ‘‡:

Good luck. Let's build this space up together. 🀝
