Part 2 - The Only 3 Ways To Grow Your Business

How to produce more resources inside your business

Happy Thursday MoeMentum Fam!

Last Sunday, I told you about this conclusion I came to while I was reviewing some PnLs from the week prior.

If you missed that post, check it out here:

Basically, I fell into this thought process of trying to figure out the easiest way to take my business to the next level, and I concluded that there are only 3 ways:

  1. Add More Resources

  2. Produce More Resources

  3. Maximize Volume and Efficiency

On Sunday, I went in-depth on point #1.

I went over exactly how to increase the time, money, and people in your business.

Today, we’re hitting point #2.

Let’s get into it.

How To Grow Your Business – Lever 2

The second lever for growing your business is simply producing more resources.

In other words, doubling down on creative production, and producing lots more creatives.

This means lots more content, and lots more ads.

Because the more creatives you're able to produce, the more eyeballs you’ll get on what you're selling.

Makes sense, right?

And naturally, this ties right into the first lever.

The more resources you add to your business, aka more time, more money, and more people…

The easier it will be to produce more resources.

Here’s exactly how I would go about producing more resources to scale your business:

Ramp Up The Output Of Your Creative Strategists

Your creative strategists are the cornerstone of your content and advertising efforts in your business.

And by ramping up their individual output, you can significantly increase the net amount of resources being pushed out there by your business as a whole.

Each creative strategist on your team should be focused on producing 25 net new ideas every single week.

Obviously, that’s a lot of creatives.

And if they’re not used to that output, there will likely be a ramp-up period.

Here are a few different ways you can help your strategists hit that benchmark:

(1) Invest in Training and Development

Provide your creative strategist with access to the latest tools and trends in the industry…

Send them videos of other creatives you like, or how you want your creatives to be done…

And create SOPs to help THEM create exactly what you want to be created in as little time as possible.

(2) Streamline Processes

Your creative strategists should not be wasting time tons of time on project management inside Trello or Notion…

They have one job and one job only:

PRODUCE TONS OF CONTENT

And you need to make sure that you have the processes in place to let them focus more on creativity and less on administrative tasks.

(3) Collaborate and Brainstorm

Your creative strategists are allowed to talk to each other…

As the business owner, it’s your job to help them foster a collaborative environment where your creative strategists can work together to generate diverse and innovative ideas.

Inject Creative Output Into The Whole Funnel

Now that you’ve got your creative strategists ramped up, you want to take their output and start injecting it into your funnel.

Again, each creative strategist should be producing 25 new ideas every single week.

Out of those 25 new ideas, at least 5 of them should be getting approved.

And out of those 5 approved creatives…

→ 2 should be pushed to the top of the funnel (TOF)

→ 2 should be pushed to the middle of your funnel (MOF)

→ 1 should be pushed to the bottom of your funnel (BOF)

As a general guideline…

TOF, your creative strategist is coming up with ideas to speak with people who are first-time buyers or have never heard of you before.

MOF is for people who have seen your product but haven’t bought it.

BOF is for people who have bought your product but haven’t bought from you in a while and you’re trying to convert them to a repeat customer.

That’s it!

That’s exactly how I’m pulling the second major lever for scaling my businesses.

And that’s exactly how I help each of my creative strategists produce more creatives every single week.

At this point, you’ve probably noticed that these levers aren’t pulled separately. They all work together and have a part in scaling your business.

We’ve covered the first 2 levers.

On Friday, I’ll be covering the third and final lever.

Till then,

Crush your week, and keep the Moe-mentum rolling!
