🧠 Nike, Adidas, Messi & PlayStation are Web3 bulls.
No one will stop us, certainly not SBF.
Seedphrase Daily Nation 👋 Welcome to your morning dopamine spike.
Today's Agenda 📓:
🤦 Brief FTX check in
🙏 Yuga Lab’s still building during gut-wrenching conditions.
👟 Nike announces a new Web3 platform on Polygon.
🎮 PlayStation has been making NFTs moves
🤦 Wtf is happening with FTX man?
The story keeps getting WORSE.
Allegedly, SBF and his roommates who worked at FTX & Alameda all dated each other.
How is that possible? Well, we did the math for you: Bahama's + mansion + humans + unlimited money = DEGEN MODE ACTIVATED.
All 10 are, or used to be, paired up in romantic relationships with each other, including Sam himself.
Well… that’s enough crypto news for today. What is happening in the NFT world?
Diversity meets the fintech industry
The fintech industry isn’t exactly known for its diversity. WTF is up with that?
Nicole Casperson is a reporter-turned-creator who’s quickly becoming one of the most important new voices in fintech. Each week, Nicole writes the WTFintech? newsletter with informative stories on startups, new technologies, and emerging female leaders.
Yuga Lab’s still building during gut-wrenching conditions.
Just like Kobe said.
Yuga won’t stop until they finish all the side quests.
Adidas x Bored Ape NFT makes an appearance with Messi in the new world cup trailer. 😲
The trailer includes Ape #8774 on a cereal box of “Indigoooooals” with what Benzema eats for breakfast, nothing huge, but now you must be asking yourself why they even did that in the first place?
catch our family reunion all World Cup long 🏡

⚜️ Big Alpha: In less than two days, Adidas will be launching an NFT capsule collection. It’s expected that clothing items available for redemption and phase 2 will provide greater utility for holders via IRL and metaverse experiences.
YUGA Acquires Beeple’s WENEW and its collection 10KTF. 🔒
WENEW is a Web3 ecosystem founded by Beeple, along with big crypto players like Guy Oseary and Michael Figge. They have huge partnerships with brands like Louis Vuitton and Gucci.
They also own 10TKF, a digital storefront where holders of top NFT projects like BAYC and Moonbirds can mint one-of-a-kind digital wearables.
And just yesterday hinted at the integration between Otherside and 10KTF, which made prices soar in value.
Welcome to the Otherside, Wagmi-san.

Yuga is still building and setting an example for every NFT project.
Even during the roughest market conditions we’ve ever seen. The projects that offer real value and utility will continue to survive. The train has not stopped. Liquidity might be down bad, but the GOOD NFT projects will continue to build, innovate and grow their brand.
Though there might be a better time to invest in new projects, knowing who will stick around is useful.
Nike announces a new Web3 platform on Polygon. 👟
Set your calendars, folks. Nike is going even harder with NFTs.
DotSwoosh is Nike’s web3 shopping platform, and their play to legitimize virtual apparel as part of its long-term strategy.
It will be a place to buy/sell virtual Nike apparel and use blockchain to share revenue on community-sourced designs as transactions happen.
The first collection won’t drop until 2023, and starting prices are under $50, which could mean a nice flip for early investors.
Nike’s first NFT venture, RTFKT x Nike, has done almost 7.7K in ETH!
Slow and steady wins the race. 🙏
Nike is looking to build a user-friendly approach to Web3 shopping by creating a seamless process that still operates on Polygon, with all sales being able to be understood in USD—hopefully solving the confusion about crypto in general.
The end goal is not to sell NFTs.
The goal is to use NFTs to lead to a service or IRL product that allows you to vote on future shoe designs.
Nike is smart by taking its time.
Playstation has been making NFT moves. 🎮
Originally filed last year and published this month, the Sony patent is called "Tracking Unique In-Game Digital Assets Using Tokens on a Distributed Ledger'.
It covers a system that could track the creation, use, modification, and transfer of digital assets created within a game. And/or assets created based on the gameplay of a video game.
Sony recognizes this colossal market. 🙊
Epic Games reported that Fortnite made roughly $50M on every skin drop. $50M. Now let's imagine that skin as an NFT project.
The possibilities are endless for players to buy/sell/rent collectibles that are exclusive or played with by their favourite streamer.
The old flex was to have all your snipers' gold in bo2.
The new flex will be to make money off those gold guns.
Just a while longer. ⏳
We are far away before blockchain and crypto are mainstream, but we are going in this direction. When the most prominent players in video games get involved, it should be a sign of encouragement for people in web3.
Crypto may be in the roughest cycle of its life right now. But this doesn't change the fact that plenty of builders are still doing the work.
So it's crucial to stay present, understand the circumstances, and push forward.
Crypto isn't going anywhere, and blockchain is being adopted in real time.
New technology takes time to be used on a mass scale and needs time to earn a track record. FUD will not stop us, FTX will not stop us, Luna didn't stop us, Celsius didn't stop us, hundreds of millions in hacks hasn't stopped us.... you see where we're going with this.
😂 Meme of the Day
I got my crypto locked up in FTX 😤
