In reality, I think we live in a new era of DTC marketing, marketing today is beyond just “advertising”.
There are a million different ways for you to generate extra revenue for your brand, and the best ways are less glamorous.
Let’s talk about 6 Indirect Marketing Hacks For Your Ecom Micro Brand
1. Free Virality
Think Long-Term: When we started the NZT brand in July we made a conscious decision to focus on utilizing big tech to our advantage beyond just ads.
We wanted free impressions so we dedicated 8 weeks to building one of the most robust marketing systems that now allows us to generate over 300 new videos and 50 million views a month.
We invested in creating content that educates, entertains, and adds value to the platform it lives on.
Use the short form algo on TikTok, Youtube, and Facebook reels to get you free reach, it will take time so be consistent and let the algo do its thing.
2. Community Building
Beyond Acquisition: Create a brand that makes people excited about seeing your content. We tested no community, to discord servers and now Facebook groups, it makes a huge impact when you can get direct feedback from your customers not only for you but for your team as well.
When your customers feel a sense of belonging, they become your best advocates.
Build a space for you to have 2-way communications with your customers and watch the magic that unfolds.
3. Silent Growth
SEO is coming back, But this time it won’t be on Google
It’s on Tiktok
TikTok is being used as a search engine, search: "How can I lose fat quickly"
Insert your fat loss products. The internet is going from written content to relatable content. Video form.
Be strategic.
Leverage keywords in your organic content and publish it in as many places as you can to boost your site's traffic.
4. Less Influencers & More Creators: The Real MVPs

The days of influencers are gone: Focus on sending out as many free products to as many real users as possible. Disregard the follower count and social status.
It's about relevance and authenticity. Customers want to relate to brands and their users.

Make your product not just something to buy, but something to be a part of.
