First, you want to sign up for ChatGPT (if you haven't already). It's completely free and takes seconds.

But if you don't know how to ask it a question, you'll be stuck like Squidward asking for food.

In this case, the "food" is financial advice. ChatGPT is not meant to act as an advisor, and if it feels like that's what you're asking for it will shut you down. But we don't want financial advice, we're just curious to see what types of functions and outcomes AI can handle.

So we had to get creative.

Scenario 1: Direct

While ChatGPT isn't going to give you a play-by-play, it can help answer all sorts of questions so you can come to a well rounded decision.

#2 Create a Trading Bot with NO Coding

You've probably heard about the benefits of a trading bot, but you might not know where to start.

Good thing ChatGPT is a pretty good coder. Trading bots work based on the code they're programmed to execute. Pine Script is a programming language created to test different trading strategies. It's similar to other programming languages using variables, loops, and functions.

Many traders spend time learning code for this feature alone. But not you. You're not here to code.

Instead, you're going to command ChatGPT to do it.

Input: Find me a trading bot in Pine Script that finds breakouts.

Don't know what breakouts are? We asked ChatGPT. "Breakout trading is a strategy that takes advantage of the volatility in cryptocurrency markets to buy low and sell high."

Result: you'll see code. But don't panic, you don't have to read it. You just copy and paste it.

Now you might be wondering, what data is being used to determine these decisions? Well...

So we asked ChatGPT: "What are the indicators used in the Pine Script breakout detection algorithm?" The bot will provide feedback on what data is used in the algorithm and how it works (i.e., bollinger bands). This helps you understand what the code is actually doing. Then, you can instruct ChatGPT to make any adjustments you want.

In this example, let's say you want to know what indications this algorithm uses to detect breakout.

Simply ask

#3 Time is Money

Your time is the most valuable luxury you have. Why waste it if you don't have to?
