The New Product Launch Checklist
Today we launched a new product under NZT-48.
For the last 2 weeks, we’ve been preparing marketing assets, email campaigns, social posts, and everything else you can think of to ensure we have a strong launch for our new product.
Today, you get to learn that full checklist within 5 minutes.
And you get to duplicate it for your own business and generate 1000+ sales like we did today
1. Build A Waitlist: When it comes to new product launches the first thing you want to build is demand and there’s no better way to do that than building a waitlist via SMS or EMAIL. Have people sign up for early access, build hype, and include scarcity.
The best way to do this is by building a landing page like this. You can use apps like Zipify to help build simple landing pages that convert.
2. Establish a communication flow: Once you start your waitlist you need to keep the people waiting entertained and engaged preferably via emails.
You want to prepare 5-6 emails MINIMUM.
Take it from the image above we took our waitlist, sent them an email on what was dropping highlighting the unique selling propositions, and then focused on having them add a calendar event on their phones on the drop day.
That was step 1. We did 5 more things after 😉
A lot of free game in this screenshot.
Counting 5 days down to launch we built a strategic email flow that kept all of our waitlist people engaged. I won’t explain it because I teased it above ;)
3. Bombard it everywhere: Share it all over social and make sure everyone knows what you’re dropping and when!
If you take a look here, you’ll see that with every email our Instagram was in sync. From sharing product USPs to launch day we made sure everything was on point.
Thats what we call an omnipresent strategy. Sharing one campaign in every channel you have. One message, one focus.
4. Your creative strategy. This is what your main focus should be anytime you launch something new - content.
The more content you can create leading up to your drop the better. You can utilize apps like Billo & Soona to help you get high-quality content without moving an inch from home.
We focused on getting product shots and UGC (which didn’t make it in on time) But over the next couple of weeks, you’ll see tons of it coming in with a few other surprises.
With that being said, there’s your launch strategy checklist in 5 minutes as promised
Shoot me back a reply and let me know if there’s anything I missed, or if you have any questions!
