How Goli just changed the TikTok Shop game for good.

Im finally back in Miami, ready to lock in and have an abundant Q4.

September has felt like a blurb and personally, it’s felt like a roller coaster, if I had to describe how my month is going I would say its “character building”.

After 5 months of traveling i’ve finally pulled the trigger on getting a new apartment here, same building different floor, how ironic lol.

Anyways, unless you live under a rock you’ve probably seen the once-bankrupt Goli taking Tiktok by Storm with their Affiliate competitions and bonuses.

I mean they’re giving out Lamborghinis and Miami condos..

Basically, they launched and generated close to $10M+ in sales on TikTok in 30 days.

Pretty wild.

Lets breakdown their strategy and see what we can learn from it

The Goli Comeback

One product, one platform, 4 million dollars worth of gummies sold, all thanks to the Chinese Goliath Tiktok Shop.

Let’s break it down…

Goli launched on TikTok in July, now they’re generating $140K a day.

While that might sound insane… it’s not luck. It’s actually from a well-calculated strategy.

Goli’s TikTok Shop Product Listing

Lets start with the backend setup goes… one thing I wanted to talk about was their product listing page.

It’s clean. Very clean.

Instead of going with your typical product shot on a white background for their first image, they have benefit stacking, feature flexing, and authority building images on every single listing.

Not only that, but a special offer callout to help boost their Average Order Value (AOV).

Affiliate Incentives

The REAL reason is their affiliate incentives. Check some of these out:

Keep in mind, we’ve never seen anything like this on TikTok Shop, and it’s THE reason they blew up so quickly.

Doing this has set a new bar for Tiktok affiliates, its not just about the pay any more, its about the incentive.

On top of a standard commission, they have this structure that pushes creators to make TONS of content chasing these big rewards

Now, to keep creators from being skeptical, they pushed a lot of credibility into this by building hype and running campaigns on their Instagram and Twitter.

Plus, they included urgency by adding in dates when these incentives could be earned.

Creator Onboarding

Goli sourced most of their top creators from creator agencies, but they handled onboarding with a lot more attention to detail than most brands.

As part of the onboarding, they provided creators with detailed “onboarding packets.” These packets had key info about the brand, its messaging, and even a clear set of dos and don’ts for creating content. 

Basically, Goli made sure that every creator they worked with was armed to create the best content. This made sure their brand message was consistent and their creators knew exactly what would work best.

You Don’t Need Superstars

As I looked through their numbers, I noticed most of their affiliates are accounts with less than 10,000 followers.

PLUS the majority of the revenue was also driven by the top 20-40 creators, keep in mind they had 100s if not close to thousands of people participating in this campaign

Just goes to show you don’t always have to work with superstars to get superstar results.

Micro-creators are hidden gems, especially when you’ve got the right incentives in place.

Doubling Down On Whats Working

They’re doing it all again.

With even better incentives.

Goli is completely changing the game with TikTok Shop and their creator incentives, and you can bet we’re going to see lots more brands follow their lead with aggressive creator incentives.

If you’re thinking about using TikTok Shop or leveraging creators for your own brand, now’s the time to take some notes and adapt some of these strategies for yourself.
