🦍 Yuga Labs TwelveFold

Back again, last week we spoke about Yuga Labs new NFT collection that will be minting on the Bitcoin protocol. The 300 piece collection is a combination of 3D generated and hand drawn art.

What we know now: The mint started at 3pm PT on Sunday March 6th. The mint itself is a blind auction.(jesus take the wheel).

If you want to mint one of these NFTs, you’ll send your highest bid in bitcoin to the Yuga receiving address without knowing what other bidders are offering, mind games galore.

Why this matters: Yuga Labs is the largest NFT company by all measures. The fact that they’re launching a project outside of the Ethereum ecosystem acts a stamp of approval for many that the Bitcoin ordinals movement could be here to stay.

Why did Yuga choose to call it Twelvefold: Leonidas has a theory that Yuga will inscribe 25 images per bitcoin block which would result in 12 blocks that only hold TwelveFold art.
