This made Twitter a little jealous. With Instagram and Meta already integrating web3, Twitter might get left in the dust if it only offers PFP verification.

Then, a nerd blessed the internet.

Jane Wong reads public code, and she has an interesting finding: Twitter has prototyped a crypto wallet. Though Twitter has not come out with a statement, the code suggests they have a wallet prototype that supports crypto deposits and withdrawals.

Which brings us to Elon Musk, the star of the week:

Mr. Daddy Elon is set to to complete his purchase of Twitter tomorrow, Friday the 28th.

It's a $44 billion acquisition, and he's not shy to admit he's wildly overpaying. Maybe it's because he initiated a vicious legal battle to get out of the deal, which failed. Now, he's walking into Twitter headquarters with a literal sink in hand:

What does this mean for the future of Twitter? It might mean saying goodbye to all the times you're excited from a twitter noti, just to realize its a spam bot. Elon has been considering many ways to get rid of bots on the app, including using crypto micro payments. Could this be why crypto wallets are being prototyped?

Elon is unpredictable, but we have high hopes on the future of the platform.

Let us all pray for father Elon to deliver us to the promised land of milk and honey.

 🥁 6 Altcoins to put on your radar

It goes with out saying that if it's not BTC or ETH, you're accepting a higher degree of risk.

But with high risk, comes high reward. Degens know this.

Our team of experts have been researching altcoins like a dog tryna get a bone. The following picks are primed for institutional investment, resulting in a nice juicy pump for your bags. When? Not now. Now is the time for you to prepare while the dummies stay weak and scared.

1. Algorand

• High use: 2 million daily transactions

• Institutional backing: Partnership with FIFA, featuring world cup NFTs

• Market interest: 500,000 new wallets created on October 24, 2022.

• Binance: moving USDC onto the Algorand chain

• Tech: Preferred by many developers for its efficient throughput and low fees.

2. MINA

• World’s lightest blockchain using Zk (zero knowledge) smart contracts

• High scaling mechanism, faster speeds: Zk is already a huge narrative, will likely be the new meta. Zk is all about privacy and ensuring end-to-end security. Might help ward off hackers in the future.

• Price action: ATH $9.91. Currently sitting at $0.62

• HUGE VC backing: FTX ventures, Circle Ventures, Pantera Capital, Blockchain.com

3. Elrond

• ETH replacer? It's an L1 blockchain addressing the scalability issues of ETH

• Update: recent 2.0 upgrade has boosted user experience, and allows you to be connected to multiple Dapps at the same time.

• Head of product: Sergiu Biris is leading the way. He sold his last company, Live Rail, to Facebook for $500M.

• Red flag: Despite promising signs, Elrond has had very low trading volume and DeFi engagement. However, this is likely just a result of the bear market.

4. Filecoin

• Not a blockchain, but a data storage network built by Protocol Labs.

• Price action: price analysis shows a very bullish trend. Strong support at $5.23

• Endurance: has been around for 2 years (thats 100 years in altcoin time)

• High capacity: over 100,000 network addresses

• Green: working to enable carbon offsets and integrate renewable energy credits. This is bullish for instutional investors who are extremely weary of environemntal impacts.

5. Polygon

If you've been keeping up with our newsletters, you know Polygon by now.

• Partnerships: with Disney, Starbucks, and now Reddit, have made it the star child of alts.

• ETH layer2 sidechain: Kinda like a sidechick, she does everything the main wont. In this case, Polygon is faster and cheaper. ETH remains slow and expensive, like your wife.

• Buffet?: Nubank, a Brazilian bank backed by Warren Buffet, is set to launch tokens on Polygon. Bullish sign.

6. ETH

• The Godfather of altcoins.

• Do we need to say more?

• Market: 2nd largest market cap after BTC

• Use cases: Has the highest # of active developers than any other coin or ecosystem.

• Vitalik:
