Hoping you all had a great week, got a lot of sh*t done, and touched some grass.
My week was going great until this morning, I scored too much in our Sunday morning basketball runs then found out my Instagram was deletedā¦F it we ball.
Welcome to this weekās edition of Moementum
Brainstorming for today was pretty brutal - I felt like I was running out of ideas and Iāve talked about everything in Ecom / DTC so far
Then I took some NZT-48 and Vowalaaaa
A million ideas started flowing but I picked one, CRO hacks to help you boost that conversion
Without any further ado, letās get into it
CRO Hacks
Over the years it took me a while to start thinking of CRO from a different perspective
When I used to think of CRO I always looked at website speed, website aesthetics, and things specifically related to the product page
But then my big-brain kicked in and it started piecing together small tricks some of the most dominant brands on the internet use today
Give Your Cart a Boost
Until last year I had never thought about adding unique value props, reviews, or testimonials beyond my product page, then I seen 9 figure brands do it
So of course I had to do it as well.
Adding extra social proof to the checkout process can only help your visitorsā feel more confident during the most crucial step on your website.
This may only be Shopify Plus feature but itās a HUUUUGE advantage to maximize your conversions from āadd to cartā to checkout

Hereās a link to one of my top landing pages before you ask, the CVR is 3.8%
Why?
Itās ugly
Thereās no navigation option at the top
It goes straight to checkout
Building this page I debunked my own limiting beliefs of
My landing page has to look cute and impress (me)
I need to have a full navigation menu for people to look around my website
I need to have a cart show
When I look at this page there is sooooo many things I would do differently but Iāve held back because it just wins

Hereās a new version of the same landing page that weāre testing out
Add A Bit Of Urgency
I havenāt tested this out yet but itās on my agenda.
Snow is a 50m+ a year business, available in a lot of retailers around the world and online, and they still use one of the most fundamental tactics in the game
The ugrency meter.
A lot of brands do this wrong by trying to create anxiety and panic for the customer.

Theyāre using a positive approach instead of an annoying one, they attached positive feelings by saying āreservingā the order.
Creating more of an honest, customer-centric approach.
Thats key.
