Tessera uses a technology protocol that vaults the NFTs to turn them into RAEs. RAEs represent the NFT inside the vault.

Vaults are permissionless and decentralized, meaning no person or group can directly access or control the NFTs in the Tessera vault.

The NFTs are offered via auction, and when it sells out, the final price becomes locked based on the last sale price by Tesserae.

Optimistic Buyouts are a new way to buy vaulted NFTs.

How it works: With OB, any RAE owner can offer to buy out the vault but must declare a fair total purchase price (in ETH). And once the offer is submitted, users have four days to review the proposal, which will determine if the buyout is successful.
