5 Pillars To Scaling Your Brand
Get the full breakdown on these scaling strategies
Scaling a brand to 7-figures (per month) isn’t just about hustling harder or spending more—it’s about being strategic, calculated, and relentless in your execution.
Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve hit a plateau, I think you’ll find this email interesting.
Today, I’m sharing with you some lessons I’ve learned this year operating Limitlessx and scaling it to be the brand it is today.
Let’s dive in.
Pillar #1: Content
Without content, there is no scale.
We all know every dog has his day especially when it comes to ads, every single video we scale is going to have a lifespan that’s going to expire at some point.
That’s something I’ve learned the hard way.
So do you focus on quantity or quality?
The answer for me is both. As a brand you need to be able to reproduce content as much as possible that’s the single most important lever for growth.
For example…
If you look up some of the biggest brands on the market right now: TrueClassics, Magic Spoon, and Bloom—they all have thousands of live ads.
It’s not necessarily because those thousands of ads are profitable…they don’t need to be.
But you need to have thousands of ads being tested, or else your advertising spend will plateau, and the performance behind your top videos will gradually fall over time.
Here this begs the question—what’s the best way to get content right now?
The TikTok Flywheel.
You’ve heard it before & you’ll keep hearing it again and again and again.
it’s the most cost-efficient, content-friendly way to Influencer seeding.
Just without the “influencer”, more so “customer" seeding haha
You send 1000s of free products to ordinary people on TikTok every single month, generate tons of content of random & kinda “strategic” content and you use that to to re-edit and re-package into all your different marketing channels.
I recently made a post going over how Jake Paul could use this strategy with his brand.
So if you want to learn more about this strategy, check out this post right here:
Pillar #2: Media Buying
Media buying is where the rubber meets the road when it comes to scaling.
If you want to hit that 7-figure mark, you need to be strategic with how you buy media.
Here’s the exact breakdown of I scale campaigns with my brands:
Bid Cap Campaigns For Efficiency
That allows us to remain efficient by setting a cap on how much Meta will bid for customers. This keeps us from overspending and helps maintain profitability while scaling.
Start by determining your Target CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) and then add $4 to that amount. For example, if your Target CPA is $50, you’ll set your initial bid at $54. From there, you should test increments of $1 above this figure, so you would test bids at $54, $55, $56, $57, $58, and $59.
This’ll let you find the sweet spot between effectiveness and efficiency with your ads, and find the right audience without overspending.
CBO Scaling Campaign
Once you’ve identified your winning audiences and creatives, it’s time to put them into a CBO (Campaign Budget Optimization) Scaling Campaign.
There is where you can push hard, allocate your budget to the top-performing assets, and let Meta do the heavy lifting in finding more conversions with your target cost.
Of course, we can sit here and nerd out on more media buying strategies but save that for another day.
Pillar #3: Funnel Optimization
I’ve covered funnel optimization across a few other posts, which you can check out here.
But to sum it up…
Firstly, you want to figure out your top landing pages and pay special attention to their conversion metrics.
For instance, if your landing page has a conversion rate lower than 3%, then you need to optimize. To do that, consider these different factors:
Is it the offer?
Sometimes a tweak in pricing or adding a bonus can skyrocket conversions.
Is it the language?
If your copy isn’t resonating with your target audience, it’s not going to convert. Consider A/B testing different headlines, body copy, or calls to action.
Is it the content?
The content leading to your landing page needs to be congruent with the page itself. If there’s a disconnect between your ad and your landing page, potential customers are likely to bounce. Make sure it all flows seamlessly from start to finish.
Pretty straightforward stuff, but the devil is in the details.
Pillar #4: Retention
Scaling isn’t just about acquiring new customers; it’s about keeping the ones you already have. Implementing a smart retention marketing strategy is the key to long-term profitability:
Automate Your Retention
Use email and SMS marketing to keep your brand top of mind. Create personalized flows that speak directly to your customers' needs and preferences. The goal is to build a relationship with your customers, so they keep coming back for more.
Incentivize Repeat Purchases
Loyalty programs, referral bonuses, and exclusive offers for returning customers can do wonders for your retention rate. Make your customers feel valued, and they’ll reward you with their loyalty and repeat purchases.
Pillar #5: Financial Management at Scale
Finally, none of this scaling matters if your finances aren’t in order. Scaling to 7-figures brings with it a whole new set of financial challenges.
The first thing to keep in mind: cash flow is king. Ensure you have a strong handle on your cash flow. As you scale, you’ll need more cash to cover inventory, ads, and operational expenses. Mismanaging this can lead to serious problems, even if your revenue is growing.
Secondly, invest in systems. As you grow, you’ll need to invest in systems that can handle the increased complexity of your business—accounting software, inventory management systems, advanced tracking, etc. The goal is to create a well-oiled machine that can scale efficiently without breaking down.
Putting It All Together
At the end of the day, just remember that scaling to 7-figures isn’t a one-time effort… it’s a continuous process of testing, optimizing, and refining your approach.
Content creation, smart media buying, optimized funnels, strong retention strategies, and disciplined financial management are the building blocks of a successful brand. Master these, and you won’t just scale…
You’ll dominate.
Remember, the journey to 7-figures isn’t easy, but with the right strategy and mindset, it’s absolutely within your reach.
