What's Happening with Bitcoin? Bitcoin has been trading around 30K for the last week, fighting to stay above the $29K level.

Earlier in the week, Bitcoin peaked at over $31,000, which is its highest price point since June 2022

Where is Bitcoin Going? With last week's CPIs report coming in better than expected, Bitcoin has a real chance to make significant movements in the coming weeks.

Especially with inflation rates continuing to climb, traders and investors are fiending for places to store their money. With Bitcoin being one of, if not the top-performing asset of 2023, it's almost a no-brainer.

Devils Advocate: Despite Bitcoin's movement over the last few months, Bitcoin dominance has dropped from 47.5% to 45.5% over the previous week.

This is the lowest Bitcoin dominance has been over the last 30 days.

This means Alts may be gearing up for a run here in the near future. PACK YOUR BAGS..its going to get fun.

🦉 A NEW BEGINNING MOONBIRDS

It's no secret that Moonbirds have been through the wringer over the last few months.

However, this development could mark a new beginning for Mooonbirds and its holders or, the end of Moonbirds for good.

What's the Alpha? In the most recent Parliament Twitter Space, a reward token called $TALONS was announced. This is a big deal, as it's the first token of the Moonbirds ecosystem.

What You Need to Know: Holders can accrue $TALONS daily via nesting, the Moonbirds staking mechanism. As said by Kevin Rose, we can compare $TALONS to credit card points, meaning holders can redeem $TALONS for allowlist spots, experiences, merch, IRL events, etc.

Bullish or Bearish? In terms of general public sentiment, people are NOT happy. Many expressed this is a rinse and repeat of what many projects have done before, and this is nothing more than a distraction from the main collection's recent performance.

Nonetheless, no one knows how this will play out in the end. However, if done wrong, this could be the beginning of the end PT2 for Moonbirds.

🔊 ETH NUMBERS

Ethereum has demolished the $2,000 price level, peaking above $2,135 last week.

Fun Fact: This marks seven days straight of Ethereum holding above $2,000, which has not been done since May 2022.

Ethereum market dominance has peaked at around 19.9%, which is the highest it's been since August 2022.

As explained above, this means ETH and other top alts could see a small run in the short term as profits from the recent Bitcoin pump move throughout the market.

Gas Prices spiked over the week, reaching highs of 84 Gwei.

The majority of this spike was due to token swaps, likely the result of traders frantically scraping what little money they had left to pay taxes.

Total Value Staked is a good way to indicate general sentiment and confidence in a coin/ecosystem.

With that said, here is an ERC20 leaderboard of coins with the most value secured.

Injective has gained 44% and reached a new high of $9.8 over the last seven days due to a partnership announcement with Tencent Cloud, the cloud business of global technology company Tencent.

This partnership aims to support builders in the injective ecosystem, starting with developers in the Injective Global Virtual Hackathon - Check it Out.

Who’s the Team?: Injective Labs was founded by Eric Chen and Albert Chon and launched in November 2020.

The co-founder, Chen, has a background in cryptographic research and trading in the blockchain space, with expertise in Eastern and Western blockchain protocols.

Chon, the CTO, holds degrees in computer science and has experience as a software development engineer at Amazon. He is known for pioneering a new Ethereum standard and co-founded Injective Labs with Chen.
